AMI Global Assistance (AMI-GA), an emerging name in global medical, travel and corporate assistance for business, leisure, expatriate, and corporate clients, is delighted to introduce our new Assistant Operations Manager, Soumendu Pattnaik. Sou joins AMI Global Assistance (AMI-GA) following his successful tenure as AMI Expeditionary Healthcare’s Aviation Manager.
While at AMI Expeditionary, Soumendu managed the aviation team and coordinated their interactions with AMI’s West African clinic managers, identified training needs, ensured compliance within the aviation department, provided advisory services to governing bodies, and directed public information programs concerning aviation programs. Whether it was a patient in need of critical care, a challenging operational strategy, or a dire situation on the ground Sou excelled at solving complex issues.
Soumendu finds the ethos of quality, transparency and innovation at AMI-GA in full alignment with his values, working together to support others. “My family says my biggest weakness is never saying no. If I am in a position to help anyone, it is my passion to listen and assist, coming up with the best solution” remarks Soumendu.
As Assistant Operations Manager, Soumendu is responsible for the daily operations and financial management of AMI-GA’s global aviation operations. By motivating, directing, and leading the team he is responsible for ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively in compliance with AMI-GA’s policies and contracts.
AMI-GA Operations Manager Sharon Solomon shares, “Soumendu has an exacting nature coupled with extensive experience in the sector. His knowledge, skill and attention to detail guarantees our patients receive optimal care during evacuation. We are privileged to have Soumendu leading the global aviation operations.”
