We are pleased to introduce one of our newest team members, Darren Jackman, Emergency Operations Specialist (London Office, UK)
AMI Global Assistance (AMI-GA), an emerging name in global medical, travel and corporate assistance for business, leisure, expatriate, and corporate clients, is delighted to introduce our new Emergency Operations Specialist, Darren Jackman. Darren brings many years of experience delivering exceptional care and customer service to global travelers and expatriates. As part of the operations team, he will be mentoring colleagues, championing our ambitions of exceeding customers’ expectations and delivering exceptional care.
Darren joins AMI-GA with 20 years of assistance expertise within the medical and financial industries supporting clinical assistance programs, premier account management, quality control and customer service. Growing up in Germany, Darren is fluent in English and German. He earned a business and finance degree and spent the earlier part of his professional career as a police constable.
Darren’s law enforcement background and unique passion to make a mark on the world contribute to his desire to help AMI-GA change the status quo in the assistance space with technology, systems, industry expertise and a talented team that is focused on the human element of the business. Darren entered the medical assistance industry in 2005. Leveraging his experience in law enforcement, Darren parlayed his skillsets for the benefit of large global corporations as a Client Liaison, Operations Specialist, and Team Lead. Darren has directly assisted with thousands of repatriations and evacuations, led teams of coordinators, handled quality control, and facilitated performance management of inpatient cases including high-level corporate executives and heads of state.
As a communications specialist, he handled correspondence and translations of German medical reports or German calls to German-speaking hospitals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, to name a few.
